Pinned  Apocalypse V2

Apocalypse has been developed since 2003 and has since gone through many changes.

The whole point about the mod was to offer something that isn't too far off the original game, or at least doesn't make you feel like you're playing a different game while at the same time making the game a challenge to play.

The mod has tried to keep some of the best features of Diablo 2 and incorporate some new features of its own. For example: Classic Whirlwind, Guided Pierce and new features like a higher resolution, hardcore only cube recipes, lots of items, larger inventory, tougher monsters, additional areas and an attempt to make gold useful!
