[News] The Spirit Behind Our Community

In late 2003 our community was established for gamers where community spirit comes first and foremost. Our goal was to create an environment that was built on respect, friendship, honor and is a family friendly environment for the young through to the mature gamer. However it seems that this spirit has been tested and I'm getting far too many complaints about members not abiding by our forum policies and our ToS. We are a multinational community with players from all over the world and not everyone is fluent in English.

As stated in ToS the we do not allow abusive behavior, inappropriate language, harassment, racist slurs, use of hacks that are not approved eg pickit or bots of any kind and members having multiple accounts unless approved by me. We are going to start cracking down on all breaches of forum policies and realm ToS so be warned if you break the rules you will pay the price and only have yourself to blame. The best way to avoid conflict is not to provoke anyone in the first place.

There are procedures listed in our ToS of how to avoid conflict and reporting breaches of TOS. The best way to avoid conflict is not to provoke anyone in the first place as it takes two to cause conflict. If you feel some one is breaking the rules, take a screen shot of the situation, not just one line or an edited screen shot but the full details from before to the end even if it means taking several screen shots. Then contact a realm admin and lodge a complaint with the screen shots.

We give everyone the opportunity involved to tell their version of any issues and once we have investigate both sides then we make a decision of what action needs to be taken. We are all here to have fun playing the best game ever so abide by the rules and enjoy. That said, we don't want to ban anyone but we won't hesitate to do so when the need arises. So be warned.

Judging by all the ban's going on lately, maybe this should be pinned at the top of every forum?
That is a very good idea.
Where would someone report a forum based issue? To certain forum admins or just any? Out of curiosity.

If anyone needs to report a violation on the forums they report it to the forum Moderators first off. If a forum hasn't got a moderator then to a Junior Admin and last of all to Admins.
